The path to Swell
We are in the midst of Make Waves, and our apps carry the logistics: six specialty apps plus the hackathon app handle gating, project assessment, attendance, and judging. Support cadence: an AMA every Wednesday and 1:1 meetings extended Tuesday through Thursday, continuing throughout the summer.

Hackathon app: from hardening to operating
June's 20-issue backlog is substantially delivered: a native judging overview dashboard, judge scoring reliability, event attendance with self check-in and admin marking, recurring sessions as concrete occurrences, an admin projects board, cascade-safe deletes, and search and filter on every admin table. The roadmap item flips from "hardening" to "operate the buildathon; scale for Swell."
Swell preparations
Hackathon preparations for Swell are underway: breakout rooms and event flows are being modeled in the app now, so the operational template is exercised well before the event.
Academy: the biggest project this month
The June 22–23 launch held, and the academy is now a solid live platform. The live developer training online was very successful, and many features have shipped since — the largest is a coding view: an in-browser IDE with sandboxed execution and auto-checked exercises, so learners write and verify real XRPL code without leaving the platform.

The academy is built on XRP Identity, which has been very stable throughout the launch and the bootcamp.
Website rebuild
The architecture for the new Commons website is specified. It is being built with forge (orchestrator), our new build pipeline. It is a significant piece of work, but build velocity is still increasing.
Payment gateway
The payment gateway has seen good progress: operator-funded payout sessions replaced per-payout burner wallets, and the service now sits behind a typed contract API with clean boundaries. Next up: integration with the hackathon app (bounty and prize disbursement) and with glow — both pending.

Client work was quiet in July while the team delivered the core-dev bootcamp — the two-client effort (goXRPL, xrpld-rust) resumes as the bootcamp closes. Thomas confirms the Swell demo scope.
Testing and amendment work
The audit harness went live. automate-ammendment-tests now runs executable proof-of-concept tests against the Batch amendment on a 3-validator local testnet with Batch active at genesis. The June position-paper practice now has a live execution layer behind it.

July added an XRPL liquidity router: executable multi-route swap planning, historical liquidity backtesting, and a Signal↔XRPL bridge workflow. This has outgrown its "portal improvements" line item — it needs a name and a roadmap decision: standalone product or portal capability.
